Noah W. Burwell is a Senior Project Manager of Enclosure Engineering with Walter P Moore in New York City. Noah joined WPM in 2017 and has worked on complex building enclosure projects both in the US and throughout East Asia from concept through construction. Noah’s expertise has been developed over a wide variety of scales and project types including museums, airports, and mixed-use developments.
Prior to joining WPM, Noah lived in Hong Kong where he was an Associate and team leader for Ove Arup & Partners Facade Engineering practice. Some of Noah’s notable projects include the Jockey Club Innovation Tower with Zaha Hadid Architects, Museum Plus with Herzog & de Meuron, and Terminal 3 at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
Noah graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University where he also led graduate design-build studios. Noah has served as a guest critic for the Hong Kong University Graduate School of Architecture and has lectured at the City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Noah is a Member of the Society of Façade Engineering as well as the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat where he serves on the Expert Peer Review Committee for research focused on the building envelope and maintenance access in high rise design.
Noah lives in New York with his family. He dreams of working on the world’s next generation of megatall buildings.
